Are Kendall Jenner And Ben Simmons Back Together?

Style and Fashion ELLE Australia

Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons seem to be on friendly terms, after a telling interaction on social media.
'Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons reportedly ended their relationship in May 2019, in a split that some sources said was temporary. But as of June 24, 2019, the ex-couple seem to be on amicable terms—if a telling online interaction is anything to go by. A look at Instagram will reveal that Simmons, 22, liked one of the 23-year-old model's most recent Instagram posts, showing her standing in front of a mural in an oversized green silk shirt. This makes for Simmons and Jenner's first online interaction since their breakup was reported a month ago. After dating on-and-off for a year, Jenner and Simmons were said to be 'on a break' in May, with a source telling People : \'The relationship ran its course. [Jenner is] spending time with her friends and back to being in fun mode.\' Unlike her sisters' high-profile romances, Jenner kept her relationship with the Australian basketballer extremely private. Aside from liking and commenting on each other's Instagram posts, the couple never posted photos of one another on Instagram, despite reportedly sharing a house together in West Hollywood. In February, Jenner spoke about keeping relationships private on Apple Music's ZAZA WORLD RADIO , hosted by friend Hailey Bieber. She said: \'I think that especially because of the lifestyle that I live everything is so magnified and everyone wants to know things, especially about your love life. A lot of the relationships that I'm in, I'm in it, and I'm in it with that one person and I'm a very loyal person once I'm fully in it.\' Whether this Instagram rendezvous is a reunion, or just a show of friendship, we'll no doubt know soon when Jenner appears court-side at one of Simmons' games.'

According To A Study It’s Harder To Lose Weight If You’re Short

Style and Fashion Harper's BAZAAR

Anew study has found that it is more difficult to lose weight if you're short as shorter people have slower metabolic rates.
'In unfortunate news, a study has found that the shorter you are, the more difficult is it for you to lose weight. As reported by Sporteluxe , the reason behind this revelation is that shorter women apparently have slower metabolisms. As Craig Primack, M.D and president of the Obesity Medicine Association, explained: \'The average woman has a basal metabolic rate (BMR) of 1,400 calories per day. That means, if she lays in bed for 24 hours, she will burn 1,400 calories. But I see women who are shorter than 5 feet with BMRs of 1,200 calories, and some who are 5'10\' or so at 1,750 or more per day.\' As stated by Sporteluxe , a slower metabolism is reportedly due to the fact that people's kidneys, brain, liver, and muscles determine metabolic rate and the size of those organs is proportional to the size of the person. Therefore smaller person equals smaller organs, which leads to a slower metabolism. Of course, if we're discussing proportions, then we'd have to acknowledge that proportionally smaller people also require less calories intake. Thus if you consume healthy food and lead an active lifestyle, then you should be able to level the playing field no matter what height you may be.'

Whoops! Did Zara Tindall just break the dress protocol at Royal Ascot?

Style and Fashion Now To Love

Zara Tindall has been known to take many a fashion risk in her time, but did she just test one of the oldest clothing rules at Royal Ascot? We investigate.
'When Royal Ascot rolls around each year, the spectacle that ensues is one that can only be described as pure heaven for the eyeballs. Indeed on each of the five key race days, we're subjected to a plethora of dreamy gowns donned by Britain's elite as they take to the greens of Ascot for the classy affair. This year has been no different - case in point being Kate Middleton's surprise appearance in an Elie Saab design, a fashion moment that will be fondly etched in our memories for a while to come. So why is Ascot always such a spectacle of perfection? The answer lies in the strict dress code, which must be followed by all attendees. Well, that is until you consider what just happened on Day Three of the event this year.. Indeed Zara Tindall, who has been a regular guest at the event for many years, wore a rather, er, risky ensemble if you will to Day Three - not that you'd have known it straight away. The blonde mum-of-two looked stunning in a teal dress that featured beautiful ruffled detailing and a high neckline. Pairing the bright design with a hat in a matching hue and nude heels, the royal looked every bit as classy (if not more so) than her high-brow affiliates in attendance. But there was a small detail about her dress that might have sent tongues wagging.. Indeed Zara's beautiful teal dress actually featured a hemline that fell above the knee - a style that might be considered a little too short in Ascot's strict dress code. But in saying that, looking closely at the rule book, it's important to note that it does state that dresses must be a \'modest length\' - so technically, it's all down to opinion when it comes to whether you think she tested the rule book or not. There are plenty of other rules and regulations around dress code at the prestigious event as well. According to the rule book, dress straps must be a least 2.5cm thick, while a headpiece needs to have a solid base of 10cm or more in diameter - no facilitators allowed! For men, socks and black shoes are compulsory, as well as a waistcoat complete with a tie. Black or grey top hats are also given the thumbs up. And while the rules certainly sound quite strict, that's not to say there isn't a little wriggle room for change. In fact, a few years ago the dress code was changed when Ascot started allowing women to wear jumpsuits to the event. And lo and behold, our favourite understated fashion hero Sophie of Wessex , pictured above, embraced the change in all its glory, wearing a stunning jumpsuit tby favoured royal designer Emilia Wickstead, who is originally from New Zealand. Suffice to say we'll continue to be enchanted by the stunning fashion moments from the Ascot green - long may they last! WATCH: Queen Elizabeth leads the royal procession at Ascot.
