Such was the respect for this, that among their accolades the team won the RYA Award for Endeavour while helmsman Montel Fagan-Jordan was voted 2017 YJA Young Sailor of the Year . International tennis superstar Rafael Nadal has commissioned an 80 SUNREEF POWER motor catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, due for delivery in 2020.
'International tennis superstar Rafael Nadal has commissioned an 80 SUNREEF POWER motor catamaran from Sunreef Yachts . Sunreef 80 Power catamaran yacht The soon-to-be Owner has chartered catamarans from the shipyard in the past and has selected the latest motor yacht model for the broad beam and stability that it provides. Constructed from carbon composite, concept images for the hull show a gloss finish on a steel grey hull and a silvery superstructure. The high-quality furnishings are designed to be multi-functional and adapt to guest usage, one example being a sofa/sunbed on the main deck aft that can move from an aft-facing position to a forward-facing one. Rafael Nadal and Francis Lapp of Sunreef Yachts A jet ski is cleverly concealed within the fold-down storage between the two hulls, and up, on the sundeck, a waterfall near the stern feeds a large circular Jacuzzi that is surrounded by a bar with beautiful back-lighting. The sunroof opens up so that diners and loungers on the corner sofas can enjoy the sunshine or views of the starry night skies. Sunbathing spots are also in abundance, with broad and deep sunbeds covering the stern and the foredeck area in front of the helm station. The high-quality interiors make use of extensive glazing for 360-degree views and plenty of natural lighting. An elegant seating area is placed to port with the formal dining area to starboard and the helm controls forward. The centre of the ceiling mimics the stars in the sky and the various lighting throughout the room can be reduced to create the perfect ambience. Sunreef Yachts has created multiple layouts for the 80 SUNREEF POWER , placing the galley or Master suite alternatively in the port-side hull or on the main deck. One of the layouts also allows for a forward and aft lounge for guests who want to spend time on separate hobbies. The fully customised 80 SUNREEF POWER luxury catamaran for Rafael Nadal will be ready for delivery in 2020 and will ensure that he and his guests have the latest comforts right at their fingertips while cruising in the Balearic Islands and beyond. The first 80 Sunreef Power catamaran will debut in September 2019 at the Cannes Yachting Festival .'

Explorer yacht VOYAGER (ex.DANAH VOYAGER) has finished a comprehensive three-year refit that has seen her extended from 61m/200ft to 91m/295ft - the largest-ever conversion project to be undertaken in the USA.
'After three years and an extensive conversion from 61m/200ft to 91m/295ft, luxury yacht VOYAGER (ex.DANAH VOYAGER, HOS TRADER, CANDY TRADER) is ready to return to the seas. VOYAGER mega yacht – Photo © Kirilloff and Associates Built and launched in 1997 by US shipyard Swiftships as M/Y CANDY TRADER, she became HOS TRADER in 2003 and changed the use to become an offshore supply ship. Returning to life as a luxury yacht, work first began on lengthening her hull back in 2015 before she entered her three-year conversion in April 2016. Kirilloff and Associates were involved as the initial conversion concept formed, and exterior styling was penned by Rafael Ochoa in collaboration with Kirilloff & Associates as well as the Owner. Voyager Maritime Alliance Group (VMAG) oversaw the project – the largest in their 30-year history. She is now the largest ever conversion project to take place in the United States and now sports a larger swim platform and a helipad, produced by Gulf Islands Shipyards in Houma, Louisiana during the early stages before the hull was shipped to Fort Lauderdale in Florida where she was fitted out at Dania Cut. Work included the installation of new generators and the re-powering of systems. 91m VOYAGER superyacht post-conversion – Photo © Kirilloff and Associates The bridge is installed with a customised touch-screen console manufactured by Radio Zeeland from a design by VMAG, and multiple screens have glass insert panels to assist with viewing from different angles. Multiple external systems, including security cameras, radar and fuel usage, use a glass-touch switch. Spanning five interior decks, the expedition yacht has extensive guest and crew areas – the latter providing for 70 – which are purportedly completed respectively by two separate contractors. In addition to practical facilities such as multiple galleys and pantries, E/Y VOYAGER also has masses of storage space for tenders and toys, a dive room, spa massage room and numerous media rooms on board – perfect for indoor entertaining in colder climes.
