For most teenagers, going to a concert and seeing their favorite band perform live is as good as it gets; especially when the band just happens to be performing right next door to where they’re staying, it’s even harder to imagine not going. However, for 16-year-old Lily Jordan, her dream of seeing the Jonas Brothers during their reunion tour had been dashed, as she was undergoing chemotherapy. On Aug. 7, 2019, the Jonas Brothers began a nationwide tour, their first since 2013, and it just so happened that they would be performing in Hersheypark, Pa., on Aug. 31. The venue was across the street where Jordon was undergoing a chemotherapy session at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Have a nice and safe weekend! تم النشر بواسطة Milton S. Hershey Medical Center في الجمعة، ٢١ سبتمبر ٢٠١٨ When Jordan heard that the boys were not only back together but coming to her home state of Pennsylvania, she really wanted to see them perform at the concert. But it was out of the question as she was undergoing a round of chemotherapy. However, Jordan didn’t let that stop her. She even posted about it on Instagram, hoping that the boys might get her message. She knew it was a long shot but was willing to give it a go. “@jonasbrothers I was supposed to be at your Hershey concert tomorrow but instead I’m across the street doing chemo,” Jordan wrote in an Instagram post. “If y’all wanted to pop in I’ll give you my room.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lily Jordan (@ljsworkinprogress) on Aug 30, 2019 at 12:40pm PDT As the Jonas Brothers were about to enter the room of the hospital, a member of the Penn State Children’s Hospita l filmed the nervous patient holding her hand over her mouth. Joe Jonas told Jordan, “when we saw your message, we had to come over.” The brothers told her their social media feed had been filled with messages from fans begging them to make Jordan’s dream come true. Joe also asked Jordan, “is there a song that we can dedicate to you?” She eventually settled on S.O.S. Another unexpected surprise guest was Nick’s wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, an Indian celebrity. After some picture taking, the House of Stark banner on the wall came in the frame. Jordan gave Joe Jonas a bracelet she had made in the same colors and asked him to give it to his wife and Games of Thrones star, Sophie Turner. “I make bracelets and I love her so much. I wanted to give her that.” Jonas Brothers visit fan at hospital This 16-year-old girl had to miss the Jonas Brothers concert to undergo chemo treatment, so they decided to pay her a visit! تم النشر بواسطة Daily Mail Try Not To Cry في الثلاثاء، ٣ سبتمبر ٢٠١٩ Obviously, what was a shortstop for the band meant the world for this young fan who had been battling cancer. After thanking all people on social media who had brought her story to the attention of the group, Jordan thanked the guys themselves on Instagram . “Thank you thank you thank you @jonasbrothers for taking time out of your day to come pay me a visit.
